Since you are using Skype for Business Basic client, I would suggest you uninstall the Skype for Business 2016 (O365), and install the normal version Skype for Business To be honest, it’s not recommended that you run two different versions of Office on the same PC. This is happening on every computer we have installed.
Is there a way to use an older version or has someone found a fix. Compatibility has also been checked and it is not being used. This is an incompatibility and searching the net the onlyĪnswer I found was to upgrade to office 2016.that is not an option. Changed Profiles and it still comes back.
I have repaired office and that has not fixed it. The three options are "Repair Now" "Help" "Close"Įven though it blames Outlook the problem goes away when Skype for business is closed. Microsoft Office will need to be closed as a result. "We're Sorry, but Microsoft Office has run into an error that is preventing it from working correctly. When Skype is running I get this error message with a box that is titled "Microsoft Outlook"
